One time when I was bartending, I had a guy come up to me with something in his eye that was bothering him and asked if I could grab him a kettle of hot water, a stack of napkins and a few lemons. Basically a hot tea set up but with no tea bag. This guy then stood off to the side of my line (the bar was also a movie theatre with an alcohol line for bringing booze into a movie) and proceeded to hild his eye open, squeeze lemon in it, then dip the napkins in the hot water, compress his eye, then squeeze lemon in it again - rinse and repeat. He was not doing this ironically nor were we being pranked. People are fucking weird.

Basically hot tea, but no tea bags. This boy went to the edge of my line (the bar was also a movie theater with a wine line to bring the wine to the movie) and closed his eyes, squeezed a lemon in it, then washed the towel. with warm water Soak, squeeze eyes, then squeeze the lemon in it - wash and repeat. Compare not me and I don’t laugh. People behave strangely.
